If you’re anything like me, you are pretty selective about the apps that you download to your devices. I am a freak for clutter-free organization in the home and office, and the same goes fro my phone.
So when choosing apps for my Mr. Harvey (he deserves some tech of his own), I make sure to select apps based on purpose and use. Today I’ve separated some great apps for dog care and dog play.
(clockwise from the top)
What is does: This app helps you search for pet services, including vets, groomers, dog walkers, dog parks and more, in your area. You can even check out reviews left by fellow app users for each location.

2. Pet Phone
What is does: From vet appointments to microchip numbers, Pet Phone can help keep all of your pet’s vital records on hand and in order. It is essentially the database and planner for your pet’s personal information. This app is especially great for a multi-animal home!

What is does: Unsure of what to do in a pet medical emergency? Or just want to gain some (beneficial) pet first aid techniques? This app offers video and illustrative tutorials that teach you how to deal with some of the unexpected injuries and accidents that can occur.

4. PetED
What is does: Not only does this app store all of your pet’s vital health and care information, but it also helps you find a vet in your area whenever you are away from your regular vet. 2. Dog-A-Like
What is does: Looking for a dog that looks like…well….you? This app can find you an available look-a-like canine (in Australia that is) for you to take home. A bit conceited, but hey, a saved dog is all that matters…no matter what they look like. Not to mention, it’s pretty entertaining finding your canine doppelganger.

3. Dog Tricks
What is does: There may only be 8 tricks you can teach your dog to master via this app, but it’s fun to be able to track your dog’s education progress as they master each command.

4. Fido Factor
What is does: It’s both a dog-friendly location directory and social media hub for dog lovers. Find a dog-friendly establishment, take a pic of your dog there and submit it to the directory. Share the dog-friendly wealth!
