House of Harvey + Olive giveawayIt’s time for another fun giveaway…our biggest one yet!  This time we are focusing on travel products in honor of our dog-friendly Cali road trip!

If you’ve ever been lucky enough to go on a trip with your dog, you know that they need to pack a bag as much as you do.  From bowls and collar to a bed and toys, dogs come with some of their own baggage.  So in preparation for our coastal road trip this week, I’ve teamed up with the incredible online shop Olive to give away some of those very essentials to help you prepare for your next dog-friendly travel.

My dog (Piggy McGiblets) and I would visit Charleston, SC because it is the best city to walk and learn about its history. There is a dog-friendly wine shop/art gallery on King St. where two large labs welcome you when you walk in the door. I’d also get a kick out of my dog’s reaction to all of the horse and mules that pull the carriages.

I follow on Pinterest and Twitter!

I consulted with Harley, and she said she would like to return to Big Bear, CA because it isn’t too long of a drive, and there’s ample opportunities for hikes and walks in the beautiful fresh air!

Me and my pup would love some where in the mountains, or forest areas. He can’t get enough of forest trails!

I’ve always wanted to travel across the country (from PA) to san francisco CA with my doxie. Seems like such a pet friendly place.

My pup’s favorite place to road trip to is Maine. She is crazy about swimming and there are lots of opportunities to get her water fix up there. She is such a good girl in the car, mostly sleeping and taking a few sniffs out the window to smell the ocean. This past summer she took a trip to Belfast, Maine with us and it was such a dog friendly town, we will surely be back!

Cole and I would totally head down to Bend, Oregon to hang out with friends and get in a lot of fun hiking! He’s a high energy lab after all, and hiking along the river is one of his favorite things to do.

I would take my dog Harvey (a morkie) on a road trip from our home in Charlottesville, Va., down to Naples, Fla., where my parents have a home. We’d stop at our favorite places on the way down — Asheville, Charleston, Savannah, St. Augustine.

Ooooh, not sure if I can win this since I live in Canada, but we would definitely go to the cottage since I have a chocolate lab and he loves swimming and racing down the beach!

your blog is so cute ; im a huge fan of olive!
i have a 11-month old rescue pup that i adopted this summer.
we are primarily bike commuters, so she has never spent a significant time in the car.
ideal road trip would be a cross-country camping trip or waaaay up north in minnesota.

also, i follow you on twitter.
as i was going through the 30 things about you & your pup, i had to smile ; if daphne and i made a list, ours would be super similar ;)

My terrier mutt Squid and I would head up to the Pacific Northwest for forests and lakes and wild rocky beaches – he loves nothing better than a good walk full of good smells!

We already have our first road trip planned out with our puppy Pixel. We are going to visit family in Colorado for Christmas! I can’t wait. I think it is going to be a fun first trip together.

We are struggling to find a good vacation for our new English Setter. He loves to run and looks for birds. So far, his favorite place has been my borther’s farm in northern Wisconsin.

My beagle Casey says that she would like to take a road trip up to San Luis Obispo to see the college age human (who has a huge backyard to roam and sniff) and stop at the beaches along the way! :)

We lived in California last summer and drove with our French Bulldog, Louis, from MS through OK, NM, AZ, and CA – up the 101 from LA to SF. It was a blast and Louis was a great traveler. On the way back we even went through Las Vegas and to the Grand Canyon! Our next trip is from DC to NC and GA on our way home to Mississippi for the holidays- we always take him with us because he’s our family!

  • Maggie O

I’d take Otto four hours north to visit family in Chicago. We could go for some wintery walks on the lakefront and spend some quality time with my parents’ fox terrier, Oz.

  • Rachel

Admiral and Cindy loo say they want to go to anywhere with water and so that they can play. Also somewhere where its warm so they wont get cold after getting out!!!
