Over the past year, I’ve been lucky enough to meet and become friends with some amazing talents in the creative community. One in particular is Kristine Arellano, owner of the LA-based design and letterpress studio, Presshaus LA.
I had the pleasure of working with Kristine on a couple of print projects this year and upon visiting her studio, I had the even greater pleasure of meeting her adorable studio assistant, Bagel (a.k.a pup). From that point on, all biz meetings were taken at the dog park where we’d talk shop and play fetch. It truly is the best/only way to conduct business.
I spent the afternoon with Kristine and Bagel a couple of weeks ago and thought I’d share some of these fuzzy moments we captured.
Did you see our Halloween ode to good ol’ Abe Lincoln on Monday? Well now we are following up with our more wild costume, as Harvey channels his inner lion and/or Katy Perry with this ROARING King of the Jungle look.
Is it just me, or would you snuggle with this ferocious beast in a heartbeat?
And be sure to tune into the Queen Latifah show today to see Harvey in our favorite Halloween costume of all time (I even get in on the silly/embarrassing action with a costume of my own! You can check your local listings HERE!
It’s the most magical time of year…Halloween!
If you’ve been reading this blog over the past year (Wow! We’ve been blogging for more than a year now…sheesh!), you may already know that I have a sincere love of the whimsical and fantastical, especially when it comes to dressing my pup up in elaborate (and some not-so-elaborate) costumes.
Well today I’m excited to share the first of two (but many more in the future!) Halloween costumes for this year! We decided to get a little more serious and show off our historical side with an homage to that honest man, Abe Lincoln.
Stay tuned for Part II of our Howl-o-ween costume series on Thursday, Oct. 31!!
Fall is slowly rolling into LA, and we couldn’t be happier. The cooler temps (and by cooler, I mean double instead of triple digits) are so appreciated come this time of year. This person and pup can only handle summer weather for so long and in honor of the cooling trends, Harvey and I headed to the park to celebrate.
Bring on the falling leaves, crisp breezes and warm drinks!
