I’ve always had a thing for copper. It’s not just the unique coloring I love, but the beauty of its aging process too. It truly only gets better with time, which is a rare reality for many household items. So I’ve rounded up a few of my current copper favorites to pay homage to aging gracefully.
I become quite the collector of serving trays over the years. From metal to wood, I show them all. While none of them have ever been used for actual serving, I still admire the look of a good tray. Here are some current favorites.

I don’t know what it is, but as of late I have gardening on the brain. I am obsessed with surrounding myself with foliage! I think it is my yearning to have a yard that has transformed me into Ms. Greenthumb, but I truly can’t get enough of the green!
In an effort to assuage my pangs for more and more gardening, I thought I would round up some fun planters for the home. My urban garden will have to do for now, but just you wait until I have a yard of my own…

A candle can change the look of a room in an instant. A simple flick of a match and light of a wick and the whole mood changes. I’ve always thought that I would do well in the medieval ages, with torches and candelabras surrounding me.
In an attempt to create my own candle collection, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite candle holders.
It seems as though I have been working in the pet world non-stop these past few weeks and I just need a break. Don’t get me wrong, my obsession for dogs runs deep, but every once and a while, you need to break free and just be…well…human.
So I’ve decided to infuse a little more of my other passion–design–into this here blog. It won’t be all that often, and will only feature topics that I’m really passionate about (I’ve got a serious addiction to clocks…and time.) To start off, I am introducing a new column that will round up some of my fave products to incorporate in and around your home. I hope you enjoy!
